One summer, Hana decides to join her boyfriend’s family on a long overdue road trip though Mexico. They drive from Mexico City to the state of Oaxaca, a route known for its scenic beauty. Over the next few days, Santiago’s mother unconsciously draws Hana into her illness. The notion of time becomes blurred, the hours and days blending into one another. For Hana, her reality has been completely reduced to the backseat of this car, she exists only in this moment. She observes Mela constantly, fascinated by her.
