SYNOPSIS

Inspired by real events, "Vincenzo" is set in unidentified places of the Neapolitan hinterland. Vincenzo is a boy that is dragged in a rape by bad company and disadvantaged family environment . The inspiration for a better existence, a passionate and determined social worker and the encounter with art and literature will offer a chance of salvation to Vincenzo.

BIOGRAPHY OF THE DIRECTOR

Marco Doviano, stage name of Antonio d'Avino, was born in 1958 in Naples, Italy where he still lives. Start studying theater when twenty years old but soon stops to follow other ways. The love for the performative arts is reborn when he has 57 years of age: he enrolls again at a theater school and very soon he has the opportunity to work as a coprotagonist at an independent short film, "Un padre" (A father). After several other experiences in independent short films, feature films, advertisements and television episodes, he decides to get involved as an author and director. Thus was born, in 2018 "Vincenzo", a history of a misfit boy who finds in culture a salvation for his life by now oriented to crime. Currently, Marco Doviano collaborates with the "Nouveau Theater de Poche" in Naples, Italy.
