SYNOPSIS

With the sun already at its highest point, Muslim student Abby hurriedly leaves school for his midday prayer in the Masjid. On his motorcycle was Jerryl, Abby’s classmate, who catches up with him and offers a ride. Although hesitant at first, Abby agrees, clueless of how far of a journey their motorcycle ride will take them. Still waiting for him outside after worshipping, Jerryl assists Abby with his helmet. Abby climbs onto Jerryl’s motorcycle and leans onto him as they set out for lunch. However, closely discerning the scene was Abby’s Father — a conservative religious leader. With every motorcycle ride around the city, their relationship further deepens. Jerryl then accompanies Abby home. Abby’s Father observes as Jerryl once again helps Abby with his helmet and exchanges meaningful looks. Finally sure, Abby’s Father reminds Abby of what truly matters. For days, Abby avoids Jerryl while resisting the urge to be with him. Days pass by, Jerryl notices Abby’s cold demeanor. So, he confronts, questions, and argues with Abby about Abby’s religion and their relationship. Without a glance, Abby walks away from Jerryl and heads to the Masjid. Now parting ways, the two continue their journey, but this time, on their own.
