BIOGRAPHY OF THE DIRECTOR
Stacey McGlynn has an M.F.A. in Film from Columbia University, where her short film, Written in the Stars, won Best Short Subject at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival and Honorable Mention at the Lucille Ball Comedy Film Festival. Her debut novel, Keeping Time, (Random House/Crown) was selected for Barnes and Noble’s “Discover Great New Writers” series as well as Target’s “Emerging Authors” series, and earned a starred review from Kirkus. It has been translated into five foreign languages.
John Toomey has a B.A. in English from Williams College where he studied film with Liza Johnson (Hateship Loveship, Elvis & Nixon). In his capacity as Williams Film Club President, John organized the Williamstown Film Festival and was integral in the creation of the Film and Media Studies major.
