SYNOPSIS

The Break is an Irish film that tries to offer a glimpse of the country that is perhaps different from the general perception. It is a story about a father (Ronan Leahy) who loses everything in the 2008 economic crash and takes his two sons (Barry Keoghan and Jacob Lea) and seeks refuge in a quiet beach/village.
What was idyllic takes a turn as he struggles to manage and stay intergrated within the community.
