BIOGRAPHY OF THE DIRECTOR

David began working in theatre as an actor and singer and later as a director, writer, musician, designer and improvisor. He has run his own circus troupe, directed large scale musical theatre productions and still dabbles on the odd theatre project. In 2005 David began working in film as an art director on independent feature films and writing and directing his own projects. In 2009 he studied screenwriting and directing at AFTRS. That same year he also took on the role of lead puppeteer on K9, a children’s TV series based on Dr Who’s pet robotic dog ‘K9’. He has dressed sets, built props, and designed costumes on a variety of projects in Australia, the United Kingdom and the U.S.A. including Girl Clock, Charlie & Boots, JUCY and A Heartbeat Away.
