SYNOPSIS
"Teaching the Nightingale" is based on a story from In the Empire of Dreams by Dianne Highbridge. Teruko, a Japanese woman in her mid-thirties, longs to share a dilemma while having coffee with a friend in Tokyo. Over the past weekend during a hiking trip, she reached a turning point in an important relationship and struggles to move on.
