BIOGRAPHY OF THE DIRECTOR
Daniel Mateo Vallejo was born in Medellín in 1994. Audiovisual and Multimedia Communicator graduated from University of Antioquia. Has shown a special interest in script writing, directing and editing, including casting and directing assistance; The Grey Zones (2018) it’s his laureate short film diploma currently in distribution and had its international premiere at the 21st Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival. In 2018 Mateo signed the Manifesto for a (new) Colombian Queer Cinema and he’s working on the post-production for his first queer short film under the name of Cinespécimen, a production house experiment he’s co-fundating with friends in Colombia.
