SYNOPSIS

A house painter, after getting paid, sends his last salary to his country of origin, abandoning deliberately his mobile phone on a park bench. Shortly after a girl finds it and decides to keep it. She takes it as a sign sent directly to her that reveals the presence of the dead.

BIOGRAPHY OF THE DIRECTOR

José María Avilés, Ecuador 1988. He studied at Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires. He has written and directed the feature film La muerte del maestro (2018), and the short films Speed Paradise (2015), Conversaciones en el Jardín (2014) and Ricchieri (2013). His work has been shown in festivals such as Rotterdam, Bafici, Sao Paulo, Biarritz, Underdox, Margenes, Fribourg, amog others.
