SYNOPSIS

After the news of her father’s sudden death, Merran and her hapless boy-friend Hamish join the rest of the family at the family home. There she finds her mother Wyn is in a cheery mood, happy the family are together again. While Merran is preparing lunch, she discovers the old cast iron frying pan is missing, the freezer is full of finger food, and the police are looking into her father’s death, who apparently died while drunk, after falling and banging his head on the stove. Merran and her sister Sheila start to suspect Wyn may have had something to do with their father's death, and they’re delighted about this (to the consternation of their respective spouses), as he was a drunk and a wife beater, and got what he deserved! But could the apparently frail Wyn have done this? And will she get away with it?
