SYNOPSIS

In 1988, Cuba, during a qualifying Skeet Shooting competition to choose the Cuban represent for the upcoming World Cup, a mediocre coach had pinned all his hope on an amateur nurse with no technique, but with a supernatural shot. In a decisive turn, the mysterious nurse loses consciousness.

BIOGRAPHY OF THE DIRECTOR

MARCOS DÍAZ SOSA (Santa Clara, 1988). He studied Scriptwriting at the EICTV, 2015. He also studied Playwriting at the Higher Institute for Arts, Havana. He has written short films like A Wall, acknowledge at the Americas Film Festival of New York, 2015; also screened at the 18 Cinema Las Americas International Film Festival, Austin, 2015, as well as the Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival 2015; A New Man, 2014, screened at the Havana Film Festival, 2014. He directed documentaries like What I Know by Heart, Things They would Write, and Fractal awarded by the Young Filmmakers Showcase, 2006. He co-wrote and co-directed the play Bad Taste premiered at the Havana Bertolt Brecht Theatre, 2014, also played at the Offene Welt Internationales Festival, Ludwigshafen, Germany, March 2015. He has directed performances based on his playwrights at the Havana Bertolt Brecht and Raquel Revuelta Theatres.
