BIOGRAPHY OF THE DIRECTOR

Vinicius Sassine is 38 years old, and lives in Brasilia. He is a documentarian and journalist, holding a postgraduate degree in Theory and Practice of Creative Documentary from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He directed the documentary film “Escape” (53’, 2018, Brazil/Spain) that was exhibited in seven film festivals, was displayed at the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art, and is hosted on the GuideDoc platform. He also directed “Exu matou um pássaro” (24min, 2020, Brazil) that was exhibited in seven film festivals, and is still being displayed. “Custódia” (25min, 2021, Brazil) is his latest film. He is winner of four international journalism prizes, including the King of Spain’s Award.
