SARA (25) is wounded woman who drowns herself in a world of alcohol and drugs. One morning, she wakes up in a hotel room surrounded by strangers, and with a vague recollection of how she got there. In her attempt to get dressed and leave, her mind is plagued by guilty memories. She hurries out the door, and impatiently awaits an elevator that will take her out of her misery. Inside, she meets MARTIN (22), a young, angel-like man. The elevator breaks down and Sara ends up revealing to this young man the guilt she feels for her brother’s death. When the elevator doors open, Sara is left alone with the realization that this meeting wasn’t an accident. But has the realization come too late?
