SYNOPSIS
The old question: what do lesbians do out of bed? TV channels commission bed/bar-hopping docs, but this film about an annual lesbian fair in a London back garden reveals subversive chutneys and prizewinning pickles from Grandmother’s recipes. Proof lesbians have irony and ironing skills: Women’s Institute costumes; butches and femmes alike rustling up controversial desserts, Goddess-themed breads and age-appropriate Morris-dancing.
