BIOGRAPHY OF THE DIRECTOR

Isabella Egizi is an adventurous and transient storyteller, who spent most of her childhood studying the ever-changing cast of characters around her. She has lived across the United States, Canada, and Europe, and after completing a BA in Theatre and Film Studies at The Colorado College in 2016, she has continued her pursuit of collaboration with other multi-media creatives around the world. Having enjoyed the thrill of playing major roles such as Lady Macbeth, The Pilot in George Brandt’s one-woman play Grounded, and the title role in the world premiere of Allison After a Fire at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Isabella took her love for acting in both theatre and film to Los Angeles. There she expanded her passion for storytelling with writing, songwriting, producing, and directing. She became involved in producing, casting and story consulting on the award-winning independent feature July Rising (2019), and played supporting roles in two successful independent features, Headshots (2018), and Sugartown (2019), all of which are now available on Amazon. Isabella also acted in principle roles in various short films, including Coast: A Short Love Story (2018), and Stopped (2019), which both screened at indie shorts festivals in Los Angeles. A Different Time (2018) is Isabella’s first directed short film.
