SYNOPSIS
Edra is a cheerful elevator boy living with his mother who is obsessed with his son. One day, he stucked in the elevator with a grumpy, old woman who shouted at him that leads Edra to lose his smile.

BIOGRAPHY OF THE DIRECTOR
Can Eren was born in Ankara. He started to cinema at high school in 2004 with his first documentary short film called ‘Konya and Mevlana’. He started to study film and television at Istanbul Bilgi University in 2006. In his second year of film and television education, he started to study double majör in visual communication design. He made lots of short films during his education. He won national and international awards with his graduate short film project called ‘Baydara - Fate of Edra’. After his graduate, he worked in Italy (San Polo Production) with an international crew as director of photography. They made 2 documentary films for Italian national tv channel Rai 3. He attended Film TEEP (Romania), Mannheim Meeting Place (Germany), 4 Corners of Culture (Romania) and Midpoint Feature Launch (Prague). He started to MBA cinema program at 2013 in Istanbul Bilgi University. His MBA graduate project is called ‘I, Loneliness Gadget’ won Undo Divergent Best Science Fiction and Fantasy Film Award from United States of America in 2018. Also, he was invited to Guanajuato Film Festival which is the biggest festival of Mexico for Rally University programme in 2018. They made a short film called ‘Matador’ together with Turkish and Mexican crew. He directed that project. After his MBA, he began to observe the society to build his first feature film project. He deciced to focus on relationships. And he wrote his first feature film scenario, which criticises the convenience marriages, called ‘Growing Morass’. He has been working on the project since 2018 summer.
